33 years on and the long-awaited sequel to the iconic comedy Coming to America is now streaming worldwide in over 240 countries and territories on Amazon Prime Video.
Set in the lush and royal country of Zamunda, Coming 2 America begins as the newly-crowned King Akeem (Eddie Murphy) and his trusted confidante Semmi (Arsenio Hall) are forced to embark on an adventure that has them traversing the globe from their great African nation back to the borough of Queens, New York – where it all began.
Original cast favourites from Coming to America return including King Jaffe Joffer (James Earl Jones), Queen Lisa (Shari Headley), Cleo McDowell (John Amos), Maurice (Louie Anderson) and the motley barbershop crew.
Joining this star-studded ensemble are Wesley Snipes, Leslie Jones, Tracy Morgan, Jermaine Fowler, Bella Murphy, Rotimi, KiKi Layne, Nomzamo Mbatha and Teyana Taylor.

American rapper Rick Ross’ Georgia estate was used as a filming location for Coming 2 America. The home sits on 235 acres of land located in Fayetteville with a whopping 109 rooms in total, including 12 bedrooms, a bowling alley, a cinema with a capacity of over 100 and a 35,000-gallon pool!
With a cavalcade of cameos and some super suprises Coming 2 America has all the bad jokes and quirks of the original and I loved it!
