Ringo Starr has said that he "loves" how his voice sounds on his new country album.

The Beatles star confirmed the release of this album 'Look Up' back in October, announcing that it would arrive on January 10 next year.

'Look Up' will also feature contributions from household names, including T Bone Burnett, Billy Swan and Bruce Sugar.

The album also features the lead single, 'Time On My Hands' which was written by Paul Kennerly, co-producer Daniel Tashian and T Bone Burnett. More on this from Nova here.

"They are all in my key" - says Ringo Starr

Ringo Starr spoke about his upcoming album during a playback of his new tracks at London's Third Man Records.

“I love my voice on this", Starr said. “I love all the tracks actually, and you know, they’re all in my key".

At the event, former Beatles drummer Ringo Starr was also joined by The Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, former Led Zeppelin frontman Jimmy Page, Sir Bob Geldof, Eric Clapton and Jools Holland.

Elsewhere, Starr also spoke about Barry Keoghan, who is to play him in an upcoming four part biopic, directed by Sam Mendes.

“I believe he’s somewhere taking drum lessons", Starr stated. “I hope not too many".

Earlier this week, Ringo Starr also announced plans for his 2025 US Tour plans. More on this from Nova here.
