Robbie Williams says he is feeling “full of purpose and loving life”, as he hints that new music is on the horizon.
The former Take That bandmember has revealed that he has “written loads of songs” in a new interview, insisting that he is feeling more “ambitious” than ever before.
Williams has certainly experienced his fair share of ups and downs in his career.
“Two things saved me from this… I didn’t want to be here, three or four times I thought, ‘I’ve had enough, I’m bailing out, I can’t stand this anymore”, Williams told an audience while on stage at the Isle of Wight last weekend.
Williams also praised the fans for continuing to “turn up for him”, as he battled against his “negative head”.
“I’ve got loads of plans” – Williams
Speaking to Virgin Radio, Robbie Williams said that he has written plenty of new music and is excited about the future.
He said, “I’ve got loads of plans. I’ve written loads of songs, I’ve got my film [Better Man] at the end of this year and I’m doing Hyde Park in the summer. I have never been busier, I’ve never been as ambitious as I am right now. I am full of purpose and I am loving life”.
This new material looks set to mark the singer’s first since his dance side project, Lufthaus released ‘Visions Vol 1’ last year. He also shared his greatest hits compilation, ‘XXV’ in 2022.
