Robbie Williams has restoked that fire which is his long standing feud with rival Noel Gallagher.
The pair have been at loggerheads for more than two decades after Noel famously described the 'Angels' singer as "the fat dancer from Take That" at the Brit Awards in 2000.
In fact, Williams has a long and turbulent history with the Gallagher brothers. In 1998, Williams was engaged to All Saints singer Nicole Appleton, before the pair split up after Nicole had an abortion.
Appleton later married and had a son with Noel's brother Liam Gallagher. The pair divorced in 2013 after five years together. The former couple's son Gene Gallagher is now 22.
Last weekend, Robbie Williams reignited this feud, after he performed at Hyde Park.
Before walking on stage and during his performance, the singer had a cardboard cutout of Noel Gallagher, with footage from fans showing the singer patting the cutout on the head, appearing to mock the former Oasis guitarist's height.
The former Take That singer then went on to perform Oasis' hit 'Don't Look Back In Anger'.
Back in 2022, Liam Gallagher responded to claims from Williams that Oasis were "gigantic bullies".
At the time, Williams said this: “Ultimately, I’m a huge fan of Oasis and [always] was”.
“Also they were gigantic bullies too, to the whole industry, everybody in it – and I didn’t like that”, he added. “A lot of that still remains inside me. They’re probably different people now but there’s a lot of me that’s like, ‘They’re f****** bullies, them. I don’t like bullies’”.
But Williams did also say that Liam “looks as though he’s changed”, describing his personality as “vital”.
While he denied Williams allegations, Liam Gallagher did apologise if he “ever hurt anyone’s feelings”.
“I agree with him on the vital ting not on the bully thing,” he tweeted. “I’ve never bullied anyone in my life I’m a massive piss taker for sure and probably gone a little too far sometimes, but if I’ve ever hurt anyone’s feelings I apologise”.
