"I can't wait" says Rod Stewart

Speaking in his new interview with Miriam O'Callaghan, Rod Stewart has revealed that Irish people could be seeing more of him and his wife Penny in the future.

"I can't wait to get back to Dublin," Stewart said. "Do you know I have an apartment there now?".

O'Callaghan then replied, "So I hear - near the Aviva [Stadium]".

"Just up the road," came Stewart's response.

At this point, O'Callaghan asked the singer, "Would you spend more time here?".

"We intend to," replied Stewart. "It's decorated now... I think we're coming over in the first week of May".

Elsewhere, Rod Stewart also added that he is excited to sing Irish ballad Grace at his upcoming Dublin show. He said, "I'll even do it twice if requested".

Rod Stewart will perform at Dublin’s Royal Hospital Kilmainham on May 26. More on this here.
