The former Pink Floyd man Roger Waters will be releasing a new live album from The Wall world tour. The album is in accordance with the release of his new film Roger Waters: The Wall.
Waters toured the iconic Pink Floyd album around the world between 2010-2013 which was captured in the new documentary which hit cinemas last month. The new live album is a two-disc set and consist of recordings from the tour dates and was produced by Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich.
It seems that Roger Waters isn't happy with just a film and a live album, he is now thinking about making The Wall a stage production. In fact it seems that proceedings could already be under way as Waters has teamed up with some big names in the industry.
Waters recently revealed that he's working on a stage version of the record with one of the writers behind the film Billy Elliot. Speaking of the production, Waters said "We've done workshops with it as a theatrical piece, and I suspect we'll see it sooner rather than later."
"I've been working with Lee Hall, who did Billy Elliot, writers and producers, and I think that team will put it on the stage first in London, then New York and then maybe it'll tour," said Waters.
