The Rolling Stones have earned $100 million dollars from playing just 14 US shows.

The shows were part of the bands now concluded US Zip Code tour. The run began in San Diego’s Petco Park on May 24th and finished up on July 11th in Buffalo, NY.

The band played to over half a million people on those dates with 628,733 tickets being sold for the gigs. It has been reported that the band has earned over $360 million dollars since returning to touring in 2012. Prior to this the band had been on a five year hiatus.

Last year the Stones were on the road for their “14 On Fire” tour. This saw the band play 29 shows across Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

The band also recently announced details of their first major exhibition, “EXHIBITIONISM”. It will feature over 500 personal artifacts related to the band. The exhibition will open at London’s Saatchi Gallery on April 6th 2016 and run until September.
