Pro golfer Rory McIlroy will make his debut on the movie screens, when he appears in the upcoming sequel of the 1990s blockbuster, Happy Gilmore.
McIlroy is to feature in the sequel, which will will also include NFL star and Taylor Swift's boyfriend, Travis Kelce, popstar Bad Bunny, and AEW wrestler Maxwell Jacob Friedman. Fellow golfers Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Kepka, Will Zalatoris, Justin Thomas, and Scottie Scheffler.
Rocky star Carl Weathers, pro golfer Lee Trevino and Modern Family's Julie Browen will also return to reprise their roles.
Happy Gilmore 2 will also see Adam Sandler reprise his role at the titular hockey-player-turned-golfer. Sandler and original co-writer Tim Herlihy, will also write the script.
This sequel will arrive on Netflix later this year, with a release date yet to be officially announced. Find out more on this here.
