The iconic Seattle rock band Pearl Jam are reportedly strongly tipped to play Malahide Castle next summer. The band, who has had a significant influence over rock and roll music since their formation in 1990, are reportedly set to perform in Dublin next June at the magnificent venue. The Cure have already confirmed that they will be performing at Malahide Castle on the 8th of June next year, with tickets completely sold out.

An insider told Dublin Live: "The Pearl Jam gig is definitely going ahead - it's all done and dusted, planning is sorted with Fingal County Council - all that remains is for it to be announced." The insider claimed that the band are a "dead cert" for the summer schedule next year. The legendary band have announced a line of shows in 2019 for their European tour, including a performance at London's 02 Arena.

The band, who have sold over 60 million albums worldwide, have been described by Rolling Stone as "one of rock's greatest arena acts" and continue to dominate the music scene with their phenomenal sound.
