Ryanair has confirmed that it expects tomorrow's planned strike by up to 100 pilots based in Dublin to go ahead. The company has cancelled 20 flights and altered the travel plans of 3 thousand five hundred passengers.
The company has also confirmed that strike action by pilots in other countries is now escalating as industrial relations problems at Ryanair continue to spread across Europe.
Last night the company tweeted confirmation that pilots based in Belguim and Sweden have announced they will strike tomorrow week, the tenth of August, while unions representing pilots in Germany and the Netherlands have indicated they may strike on that date as well.

The airline meanwhile has invited representatives from Forsa, the union representing Irish pilots who are set to strike for the fourth time tomorrow, to fresh talks next Tuesday morning in Dublin Airport.
