Having only just been released last week, Sam Fender's new album, 'People Watching', has already outsold the entirety of the UK Top 40 combined, as it steamrolls its way towards top spot in the charts.
Arriving just four days ago (February 21), 'People Watching' which serves as the as the singer's third studio album, has already managed the biggest opening week of 2025. The album has already shifted 80,000 units, and is expected to follow up Fender's debut release 'Hypersonic Missiles', and 2021's 'Seventeen Going Under' in reaching number one.
Should Fender reach 100,000 units this week, the singer will become the first UK solo artist since Harry Styles did just that in 2022, with 'Harry's House'
Last December, Sam Fender also supported 'People Watching' with a run of shows across the UK and Europe, which included a date at Dublin's 3Arena. More on this from Nova here.
