Yet the former Velvet Revolver singer says it is business as usual, and although there are problems within the band, no-one is leaving.
"Nobody in the band can be fired. No one’s ever fired anybody, and no one’s ever quit the band. We really have been together a long time, and I’m proud of that. I really do like those guys. It hurts my feelings when we aren’t getting along because I view them as family...Behind the scenes it’s really not anything different than what was going on before" said Weiland.
Reacting last week by saying his lawyers would sort it out, Weiland has changed his tune to say that the escapade was "a whole thing to boost ticket sales."
