Sharon Osbourne has revealed she has tested positive for coronavirus and was briefly hospitalised.
The TV presenter also said that her husband Ozzy had tested negative. The prince of darkness has had many health issues in recent times. He has suffered from a staph infection, a bad fall which resulted in surgery and was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
Sharon has said she is recovering in a location away from her husband.
She took to Twitter to announce the news. In a tweet she said “I wanted to share I’ve tested positive for Covid 19. After a brief hospitalization, I’m now recuperating at a location away from Ozzy (who has tested negative) while “The Talk” is on scheduled hiatus. Everyone please stay safe and healthy.”

Her TV show, The Talk is filmed in Los Angeles where she and Ozzy live. Currently, the state of California is struggling with a second wave of coronavirus infections, as most of the state is under a stay at home order.
This news comes as Carrie Ann Inaba, another presenter on The Talk recently announced she had tested positive for coronavirus.
Other celebrities who have contracted Covid-19 included Tom Hanks, Bryan Cranston and Idris Elba while many footballers have also tested positive for coronavirus including Ronaldo.
Just this week, the USA started their roll out of the Pfizer vaccine. A decision is expected from FDA by the end of the month on the roll out of a second vaccine, the Moderna vaccine, which Dolly Parton donated a million dollars to.
It hasn’t been the easiest year for the Osbournes. They were recently victims of credit card fraud. You can read Radio Nova’s report on it here.
Sharon Osbourne also revealed recently that there are plans in place for a biopic about Ozzy.
