Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne have been publicly declaring their love for each other, as the couple celebrate 39 years of marriage.
The couple tied the knot in Mau, Hawaii on 4 July 1982. On Sunday July 4, Sharon Osbourne shared photos from that special day on her Instagram. She thanked her “soulmate” Ozzy Osbourne for “wonderful, insane times”.
“Thank you for 39 years”, Mrs Osbourne wrote. “For the most incredible life together. The crazy, wonderful and insane times. Yes, pain and sorrow too, but we got through it. We worked so hard for years professionally and personally. We succeed together. You are my soul, my life. What a fantastic life we have lived so far, the best thing is there’s more to come. Every day is an adventure, every day I love you more and respect you more. My soulmate, my love and my friend here’s to our next adventure! Love you always ~ Sharon”.

“Happy anniversary my love” – Ozzy Osbourne
Husband, Ozzy also posted his love for his wife Sharon.
Along with a photo of him placing the wedding ring on Sharon’s finger, Ozzy wrote, “Happy Anniversary My Love! – July 4, 1982”.

The couple’s romance has been far from plain sailing however. It has weathered all kinds of turbulence, like when Ozzy tried to strangle his wife in 1989. “I regret trying to kill Sharon”, Ozzy Osbourne admitted 20 years later.
The Osbourne couple also split up briefly in 2016, when Ozzy’s affair with hairdresser Michelle Pugh came to light. Ozzy Osbourne subsequently underwent therapy for sex addiction. Sharon had also accused him of being a “dirty dog”.
“I’m lucky she didn’t leave me”, Ozzy Osbourne had previously admitted in an interview with GQ. “I’m not proud of that. I was p***** off with myself. But I broke her heart”.
He also admitted in 2019 that, “If it wasn’t for my wife Sharon, I wouldn’t be here now. I wouldn’t be alive”.
