Sinead O’Connor, who recently made a name change from Magda Davitt to Shuhada Davitt as a result of her conversion to Islam. Now, the singer spent most of today on Twitter lashing out at white people, Donald Trump, and speaking up for women's rights in a series of divisive tweets.
Shuhada Davitt began by expressing her disdain for white people,
“I’m terribly sorry. What I’m about to say is something so racist I never thought my soul could ever feel it. But truly I never wanna spend time with white people again (if that’s what non-muslims are called). Not for one moment, for any reason. They are disgusting.”
Continuing on, the artist formerly known as Sinead O Connor began mouthing off on a diverse number of subjects. According to Consequence of Sound Davitt took aim at the hypocrisy of Twitter, the perils associated with President Donald Trump, American people's ignorance, society’s viewpoint on on Islam, and why women look set to “sing the devil to sleep.”
