Slash has announced that his stepdaughter, Lucy-Bleu-Knight, has died aged 25.

The Guns N’Roses star confirmed this sad news via a statement on social media.

Taking to social media, Slash wrote: “Lucy-Bleu Knight (December 6, 1998), beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson, passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, CA on July 19, 2024″.

He also added: “Lucy-Bleu was an incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer, and a charming, lovable, sweet soul”.

Elsewhere, Knight’s family have also requested that “social media speculation be kept to a minimum as they grieve and process this devastating loss”.

Lucy’s parents were Meegan Holmes and Mark Knight. Slash and Hodges first began their relationship in 1989, before rekindling their courtship in 2015.

Slash Postpones Tour Dates

Yesterday, Slash announced the cancellation of several dates from his upcoming tour, with Knight’s death the likely reason.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, the S.E.R.P.E.N.T tour regrettably has to cancel the below performances. Refunds will be available at points of purchase,” a statement read. The dates included a show in Cincinnati tonight (July 22), and follow-up dates in Interlochen, Huber Heights and Windsor”, he said.

Last month, Slash promised big plans for Guns N’Roses for 2025. More on this from Nova here.
