Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators had a very special gig on ABC TV last night, performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! The band were in town to play their latest single, The River Is Rising, for the first time on live television. It was a night of chords and giggles as guitar god Slash spoke in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, before playing the new track.
Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators will celebrate the release of their new album, 4, by performing it its entirety on Friday, February 11th. The Live At Studios 60 concert event will stream live and free on the Slash YouTube channel, and Facebook at 7 pm. The concert will be immediately followed by a live question-and-answer afterparty with Slash exclusively on YouTube Premium. Releasing February 11th via Gibson Records, 4 is Slash's fifth solo album, and fourth from his band featuring Myles Kennedy (vocals), Brent Fitz (drums), Todd Kerns (bass, vocals), and Frank Sidoris (guitar, vocals). The group released an official music video for the LP's first single in October, which was shot on location in downtown Los Angeles with Gibson TV director, Todd Harapiak.
Slash and the guys have had great success over the past decade, with Living The Dream, Apocalyptic Love, and World On Fire, all achieving Top 5 Billboard charting debuts in the US. The three albums have now garnered 10 consecutive Top 5 Radio singles, brought sold-out world tours, and have earned the band the best critical acclaim of their career.
Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators will begin their North American headlining tour in Portland on February 8th. Hitting 28 major cities, including Los Angeles, New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Nashville, the tour will conclude on March 26th, in Orlando, Florida.
