Thrash metal icons Slayer played the very last European show of their long and epic career on Saturday, August 3rd.
That’s when the metallers took to the stage for the ultimate show of the European stint of their farewell tour.
The band wer playing at thed emotionally charged Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle venue in Stuttgart, Germany. The tour also features Anthrax as support.
After the show, drummer Charlie Benante shared photos of Slayer’s Tom Araya and Kerry King, as well as Anthrax’s Scott Ian.
Benante said on an Instagram post:
“Tonight was @slayerbandofficial last show in Europe . This was a very emotional time and I’m happy I was here to be a part of it #reigninblood #slayerfarewelltour2018 #sad @anthrax familia.”
Antimusic reports that Slayer will have a small break off before they kick off the final leg of their farewell tour.
Called The Final Campaign, the North American trek will be kicking off in November and will finish up with their very last show. That’s a hometown show at the Forum in Los Angeles on November 30th
