With the changing seasons, some people are ahead of the curve and already taking action to stock up on turf for the coming winter months. For one Dublin man, his efforts at getting his fuel stores sorted resulted in a hilarious outcome.

It goes without saying he severely underestimated how much 'a bit of turf' actually is! Being a peat ordering virgin he gravely mistook how much he would need. It took him nearly two days to get all of the turf into his back garden.
Same thing happened to us. Only time I’ve cried from exhaustion, took 2 of us 7 hours to move it.

The poor lad even had to construct a kind of bunker to store his new mountain of peat. It wasn’t long before the wisecracks started coming in twitter.
