Stevie Wonder has announced he’s taking a break from music to have a kidney transplant.
He told the crowd the news at the end of his concert in Hyde Park last night:
“So what’s gonna happen is this: I’m going to have surgery. I’m going to have a kidney transplant in September of this year,”
He’ll perform three more shows before having the operation in September and also said he has a donor lined up, and that it’s ‘all good’.
