Some big news has come out of the Stone Roses camp recently as they announced that they will be playing in Ireland next year. They recently revealed that they will be playing Marlay Park in Dublin next year.
The official date for the gig is Saturday the 9th of July, tickets for the Marlay Park gig are priced at €74.50. Tickets will go on sale next Friday the 20th of November at 9pm.
The Irish date comes off the back of two huge gigs that were announced by the the band last week. The Stone Roses announced that they will be playing four nights at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester as well as a performing at T in the Park in Scotland on July 8th.
The Stone Roses will be playing four nights at the home of Manchester City FC, playing on June 15th, 17th, 18th & 19th. The final three dates are already sold out, so it should give us an indication of how fast the Marlay Park tickets will sell.
As well as performing a number of high profile gigs next year, reports suggest that the band could be recording a new album. It would be their first album in 21 years with their last album being Second Coming in 1994.
