Billy Joe Back Out Of Rehab
Green Day will play their first gig after the lead singer leaves clinic.
After cancelling a series of dates in 2012 and 2013, Green Day will play at SXSW in Austin, Texas on March 15. This marks their first since Billie Joel Armstrong was admitted to rehab, following an onstage meltdown.March 15 will also mark the date of two film premieres for Green Day. The first is Broadway Idiot, described as a look "behind the curtain with Green Day lead singer, Billie Joe Armstrong, as he ventures onto Broadway with American Idiot". The second is a screening of the documentary ¡Cuatro!, which offers an insight into the making of the band's 2012 album trilogy.
Green Day will be coming to London on June 1 to play at the Emirates Stadium.
