Talking Heads’ iconic live performance for WCOZ-FM from 1977, will be made available for Record Store Day, it has been confirmed.
This will mark the first time that this live show will be made available in its entirety.
The show was originally recorded at Northern Rock Studio near Boston in November 1977, and saw Talking Heads perform 14 songs at the show, just two months before they released their debut ‘Talking Heads 77’.
Live At WCOZ 77′, saw Talking Heads comprising of lead singer David Byrne, alongside Chris Frantz, Jerry Harrison, and Tina Weymouth perform half of their debut album’s tracks, including ‘Uh-Oh, Love Comes To Town’.

The setlist will also include live versions and early renditions of tracks from their 1978 album More Songs About Buildings and Food.
