An investigation is under way after the remains of a homeless man in his early 40s have been discovered at Madison Road Dublin in the early hours of this morning.
It is understood that the deceased had sustained fatal injuries following an attack at a laneway off Madison Road at 1.30am.
A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in connection to the murder and is currently being questioned at Kevin Street Garda Station.
The area has been sealed off and the State Pathologist is due to carry out an examination.
