As for this evening, Met Éireann have said that patchy rain and drizzle will move to the east. This is to be followed by brighter and fresher conditions from the west, while the rain clears.
Temperatures are to stay between 20 and 23 degrees, with strong winds coming from the Atlantic.
Leinster is expected to see showery rain tonight, with many regions enjoying dry and clear conditions.
Throughout the night, rain is to spread from the Atlantic, with western and north-western areas affected. Temperatures are to drop to between 10 and 13 degrees, with gusty winds predicted.
Week Ahead
As for Thursday, showery rain is to spread eastwards across Ireland, with the east to enjoy little rainfall. The south is to remain dry with bright spells breaking out.
The west and north is to see showery rain, according to Met Éireann, with the rest of the country enjoying sunny spells.
Temperatures are to range between 14 and 17 degrees, with fresh and gusty winds.
A mixture of clear spells and showers has been forecasted for west and northern regions for Thursday night. Temperatures are to drop to between 9 and 12 degrees.
As for Friday, it will stay mostly cloudy, with scattered showers. Temperatures are to hit between 15 and 18 degrees.
Rain is to be more persistent in the Atlantic coastal counties for the afternoon and evening.
Friday night is to see rain and drizzle move across the country, with temperatures dropping to between 10 and 13 degrees.
