The Police Are The Latest Classic Rockers To Be Immortalized In Funko’s Pop! Rocks Series. The dolls will be released this coming summer.
The officially licensed figurines of Sting, Andy and Stewart, band members of The Police will arrive in June. According to UCR, this was announced on Funko Pop’s blog along with edited lyrics,
“Every breath you take, every move you make, every bond you break, every step you take these Pop! British rockers will be watching you”
Choosing them as separates, be it lead vocalist and bassist Sting, guitarist Andy Summers or percussionist Stewart Copeland may not be an option.
There are no details out just yet on whether the figures will be sold separately like Metallica and Guns N’ Roses when they were commemorated.
The Police figures may only be available packaged together as part of a limited-edition like Funko’s exclusive Rush set sold last summer in Canada at Fan Expo.
In the meantime, while we wait and see, Funko Pop tells us to get ready to fill the house with the sweet sounds of the Second British Invasion!
If the Police dolls are not for single sale this time you may get another chance, so grab em while you can! The company have just reissued the second line of figures of Kiss and Johnny Cash in their distinctive Funko Pop Style, so maybe hang on!
