Pop impresario Louis Walsh is set to hold auditions for a new boyband and a new girlband at Vicar street in Dublin in November.
Walsh has overseen the careers of some of Ireland’s most successful pop artists with over 100 million record sales worldwide.
The Mayo man has to his credit more than 50 UK Number 1’s chart successes. Allied to that he has help shift over 10 million concert tickets worldwide.
He became well known in the UK as a judge on The X Factor for 14 seasons. Budding singers and performers aged between 16 & 21 should go to louiswalsh.com for information.
Applications are asked to send their details, along with a short video clip of themselves performing; (link to their YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or just filmed on their phone).
Louis said today “Because of Covid guidelines and indeed the talent that we all see and hear every day online, I am asking people to go onto the site and send me a sample of them performing – or a link to their social account where we can find them. We will then call back finalists for a live audition. There is so much great talent here in Ireland and I’m really looking forward to the next few weeks.”
