The Rolling Stones have reportedly scrapped plans for a UK and European tour in 2025.

It has been reported by several outlets, including The Times, the band have allegedly turned down the option to return to touring later this year.

This was reported after a proposed multi-million pound stop at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was rejected, along with other shows across Europe.

Bandmembers Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood reportedly said no to this tour, due to complications regarding suitable venues, travel, along with pre-existing commitments having been shown multiple-date options for shows this year.

Such dates included Paris, Rome, Barcelona, as well as four shows at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

This comes after the band had sold over 880,000 tickets for 20 huge shows in North America last year, generating close to $235 million. This put them at Number six on the highest-grossing music world tours for 2024.

Rumours of a new Rolling Stones European Tour were first reported last week, with one news outlet writing: "Mick, Keith and Ronnie can't wait to bring the show to UK audiences". More on this from Nova here.
