Tom Hanks reportedly gatecrashed a same sex wedding, whilst out jogging on a beach.
At Santa Monica, the legendary actor approached the happy couple Tashia and Diciembre Farris towards the end of the ceremony. Hanks called the wedding “beautiful”, having watched it from afar.
The pair were getting married when Hanks asked for a picture.
“There’s Tom Hanks”
The Toy Story legend reportedly approached the couple towards the end of the ceremony.
“Everyone is saying, ‘There’s Tom Hanks!”, Tashia Farris said. She said that herself and Deciembre did not see this coming.
Hanks himself, seemed particularly pleased that the wedding was a same-sex ceremony.
“Oh get out!”, Hanks exclaimed. “My stock just exploded!”.
Tashia said that Tom had been watching the ceremony from a distance. “I saw the ceremony from back there and it had to be one of the most beautiful ceremonies that I’ve ever seen”, she said.
They also said that Tom Hanks had some “positive words” and told them to “keep the love alive”.
Diciembre also called this meeting with Hanks, “the icing on the cake” to their perfect day.
“Our wedding was already a dream to me,’ Diciembre added. “To finally marry her — this was our day. And everybody we love was there, and… Tom Hanks just walks up! Out of all days, out of all people, he walked on the beach today. It was meant (to be)”.
It was also reported that Diciembre’s late brother and Mr Hanks even shared the same birthday!
She said, “So he wasn’t at the wedding, but Tom Hanks coming was his way of saying he was here”.
Wouldn’t be the first time
This is also not the first time that Hollywood star Tom Hanks has crashed a wedding.
Back in 2016, Hanks was also out jogging by Central Park, where he spotted the happy couple Ryan and Elizabeth and decided to give them a nice wedding present.
Donning a hoodie and sweat pants, Hanks approached the couple and introduced himself, while photographer Meg Miller took their snaps at the ceremony.
Hanks is married to his second wife, actress Rita Wilson. They have two children together, Truman and Chet. The couple met in 1981 when Hanks was married to his first wife Samantha Lewes.
Hanks also celebrated his 65th birthday earlier this year.
