Readers of Rolling Stone magazine have come up with the top ten dumbest band names.
Included in the list are Hootie and the Blowfish, Chumbawumba, The Beatles – and a couple we can’t say… out loud!
Nickelback made it to Number 5 – their name came from Chad Kroeger working in Starbucks and saying “here’s your nickel back” when giving people their change.
Hoobastank were at number 2 – their name was just a word that they made up that they thought sounded cool…
And at No. 1… LIMP BIZKIT – apparently Fred Durst came up with the name because he wanted people to think the band sucked.
Strangely… lots of people do.
