According to a new survey, Dubliners top the table for making applications to claim back their tax.
The poll by Taxback.com also shows that 27% of all tax refund claims in 2018 were made in the capital. Cork came second with 12% of all claims, then comes Meath at 6%, and then Galway and Kildare sharing 5% each.
It was reported that the survery also revealed that health service workers represent the highest numbers for claiming their tax back. They represent roughly 17% of all refund claims.
Taxpayer Index 2018 discovered that IT and engineering professionals were also among the top claimants at 14% and 11% respectively.
