He’s been widely criticised for suggesting guns could prevent stabbings. The two leaders discussed his upcoming visit, Iran, trade, and North Korea.
Meanwhile, Stormy Daniels, who claims she had an affair with Donald Trump, has been joking about the scandal on Saturday Night Live.
The adult film actress appeared on the famous US comedy show as herself, alongside Ben Stiller and Alec Baldwin – who plays the president.
The sketch centres on a legal deal to keep her quiet – although Mr Trump denies any affair.
