Gardaí have arrested two people during an operation in Finglas, whereby a substantial amount of drugs were seized.
On Wednesday, January 3rd, as part of an intelligence led operation by the Garda Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and the Special Crime Task Force, authorities discovered a quantity of cocaine with an estimated street value of €70K.
The drugs were seized in the Abbotstown area of Finglas where two males were arrested.
Both men, 35 and 23-years-old are currently being detained at Finglas Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
