A man and a woman have been arrested after a drug seizure in County Meath last night. Drugs worth nearly 700 thousand euro were seized.
This discovery was made during the search of a house at Talltein Drive, in Navan at around half nine last night. The seizure is estimated to be worth 690 thousand euro.
Local Gardaí assisted by the Regional Armed Support Unit seized herbal cannabis, ecstasy tablets, cocaine and diamorphine, as well as a large amount of suspected mixing agent and paraphernalia.
A man aged in his early fifties and a woman in her late thirties were arrested and taken to Kells Garda Station. The investigation is ongoing.
