Two more people with Covid-19 have died in the Republic. The death toll from the disease now stands at 1,748.
Meanwhile, 14 more people have tested positive for coronavirus with the total number of cases now standing at 25,683.
The acting Chief Medical Officer Dr Ronan Glynn has said the country is now at a sensitive stage of the pandemic.
He encouraged people to continue to be vigilant in the fight against the disease.
The re-opening of all pubs is set to be deferred until August 10th. Cabinet Ministers are also expected to make it mandatory to wear facemasks indoors in shops and other enclosed settings.
