After much speculation last week about potential Irish dates for U2's European tour, it has recently been confirmed that U2 will play Irish dates in November.

They originally stated that their new Innocence + Experience Tour would not be suitable for Irish venues. It was recently confirmed however that U2 will re-purpose their show for their Irish shows.

The dates were confirmed on Saturday evening after U2 kicked off the European leg of their tour in Turin. Bono confirmed the news by saying “We are coming home... it was really hard to figure out a way of doing it, but we just had to make it happen."

Bono also addressed the issues that they face bringing the show to Ireland "We found a way to reformat the show, to literally rebuild it for the Irish show." U2 will supposedly announced the exact dates and locations for the shows this Wednesday.

The band recently played an extended version of 'Zooropa' from the album of the same name at their gig in Turin. Always known for having their finger on the pulse of current events, during the performance they urged Europe to open their hearts for Syrian refugees fleeing their country.
