The video, directed by Mark Romanek, the man behind videos like Jay Z’s “99 Problems” and Johnny cash’s “Hurt”, is shot in black and white, and the scene shows the band playing to an adoring crowd.
The video is not in full as it is a promotional video for the song and lasts for just over a minute.
As we have said previously, the band premiered the song at this year’s Superbowl half time adverts section as a charity single in partnership of Bono’s charity “Red” and the “Bank of America”
The track was available to download free from I Tunes for 24 hours and the agreement was that the Bank Of America would donate one dollar for every time the track was downloaded. The track raised over two million dollars for the “Red” charity that fights AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria.
Speaking BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe Bono spoke about the inspiration behind the group's as-yet-untitled thirteenth studio album, saying:
"We went back to why we wanted to be in a band in the first place. We were listening to the Ramones and Kraftwerk – you can hear both on 'Invisible'. It opened up a whole valve for me writing, it was like a damburst of sorts."
As of yet there is no news as to when the album will be released, stay with Nova for updates on this, and all things music.
