Los Angeles’ County Sheriff’s Department have confirmed that a woman has been arrested for the attack on actor Charlie Sheen at his Malibu home.
Electra Schrock the suspect in question, was arrested, after officers were called to the home of Charlie Sheen for a “battery/disturbance”.
“Upon contacting the parties involved, deputies identified Charlie Sheen as a victim of assault”, the sheriff’s department said in a statement.
Suspect “forced her way” into Charlie Sheen’s Home
According to several media outlets, the suspect is one of Charlie Sheen’s neighbours, who “forced her way into his home and attacked him when he opened the door”.
She was charged with assault with a deadly weapon , force likely to cause a residential injury, and residential burglary.
“We’re told she ripped Charlie’s shirt and attempted to strangle him”, they also reported.
They also added that Sheen was treated by paramedics, but was not taken to hospital.
Media outlets have also stated that this is not the first incident to have taken place between Sheen and his neighbours.
A previous confrontation saw a sticky liquid being squirted on the Two and a Half Men star’s car.
Along with Two and Half Men, Charlie Sheen’s other TV credits include ‘Spin City’, as well as appearing in films such as ‘Wall Street’, ‘Platoon’, and ‘Young Guns’.
