Video: Foo Fighters Rocked Reading With AC/DC Classic!

The Foo Fighters rolled out a live version of AC/DC’s 1977, “Let There Be Rock”, at Reading just passed.

That was as the band headlined the festival on Sunday, August 25th and the BBC is streaming video from the rockers’ closing set at the festival.

 

 

The mammoth 25-song show delivered tracks from their nine-record catalogue. Antimusic reports that Dave Grohl dedicating 2017’s “Run” to the late great Keith Flint of The Prodigy.

The Foos brought out a surprise guest as frontman Grohl started playing what seemed like a Nirvana riff/ Grohl was busily whigging out on the grunge riff as Rick Astley came out in a Hawaiian shirt and Rickrolled more than 60,000 unsuspecting fans with his 1987 hit, “Never Gonna Give You Up.”

As well as the AC/DC cover the BBC sharing footage via Hennemusic of 2005’s “Best Of You” and the show’s finale of “Everlong.” Check the videos out below.
