The Smashing Pumpkins staged a hit-packed comeback show at an intimate Californian venue on June 27th. You can see the setlist and official photos of the concert below…
At the doors of L.A’s Troubadour club, a small group of lucky Pumpkins fans were asked to hand their phones over as they entered the venue. 400 fans gained entry as wristbands had been handed out on a first come first serve basis the day before.

In a mouthwatering setlist that kicked off with the velvety euphoria of ‘Hummer’, the band then played a career spanning selection of favourites, including ‘Tonight, Tonight’ and ‘1979’. As well as current single, ‘Solara’.

They also ensured to acknowledge the tracks from their debut, Gish, including the sublime and rockin’ ‘Siva’ and the ever lush ‘Rhinercous’. As well as this Corgan and his remaining original Pumpkins also invited a special guest, AFI frontman Davey Havok for a cover of Joy Division‘s ‘Transmission’.
