A woman has been apprehended suspected of damage to property for trying to use a melon to gain entry into a vintage clothes shop. Video of the fruit vandal is below.
People called Avon and Somerset Police after reports of a person trying to force access to the property, on Gloucester Road in Bristol, at 6.30pm last Saturday.
A force spokesman said, “She was using what appeared to be a melon to damage glass in the door. The woman, aged 41, was arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage. She has been released under investigation.”
