Body and Soul organisers have today announced an impressive bill of Irish and International comedy acts set to take the stage at the Vodafone Comedy Tent this summer.
This is the third year that the Vodafone Comedy Tent will be entertaining festival goers at Body & Soul – which takes place in the magical surroundings of Ballinlough Castle, Co. Westmeath from 23rd -25th June.
Gerry Nixon, Sponsorship Manager at Vodafone Ireland, commented on how the past two years have “been a massive success” . He said, “The festival is one of the summer highlights and promises a weekend to remember.”
Al Porter will bring his cheeky brand of honesty to the stage with his hit show ‘Al Porter At Large’. Festival fans can expect a feel-good hour full of his trade mark humour, with 90s dance tunes thrown in to get the party started!
Joining him will be the hilarious Karl Spain with his Republic of Telly colleague Fred Cooke. Cooke promises to honour the audience with his musical prowess and wild physical story telling!
One of Ireland’s fastest rising comedy stars, Joanne McNally, will also be on hand over the weekend – and stick around to check out Alison Spittle too, she’s a hoot!
The Vodafone Comedy Tent is a stand-out addition to the already great line-up for the Body & Soul festival. And what a great combination of feel good music and a few laughs!
Speaking about the Comedy line-up, Avril Stanley, Director of the festival said it “ … promises to ensure there’ll be laughter on the breeze at Ballinlough.”
