Lollapalooza has been taking place over the weekend in Chicago. The annual festival sees a diverse lineup of alternative musicians grace the stage.
The NME reports that some very eager fans employed extreme measures to get themselves inside the festival.
The thronging crowd knocked down one of the festival’s fences as they defied security
In a video doing the rounds on social media we can see a large number of people storming the fences of the festival, which takes place at the historic Grant Park.
The video shows over a 100 people scaling the fences. One person with a prosthetic leg can be seen being refused entry by security.
Beyond embarrassing…people like this make the festival experience worse for everyone. 🤦♀️🤦♂️ | 📹: @jerm_cohen@Lollapalooza pic.twitter.com/FbCBXB6evS
