Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie joined Eric Cantona on stage to perform a track written by the ex footballer for Palestinians.

The pair performed the track 'Give Us A Ticket' at King's Place in London as part of Cantona's ongoing UK and Ireland Tour.

The Frenchman confirmed these dates back in January, having released his debut EP, 'I'll Make My Own Heaven', including the single 'The Friends We Lost'.

Cantona raps up this tour with a show at the Palace Theatre in his beloved Manchester tonight (April 20). More on this here.

"Thank you Eric" - Bobby Gillespie Hails Cantona

Taking to Instagram, Bobby Gillespie shared this live collaboration, writing, “Last night I was honoured to sing with my friend @ericcantona on a song he has written about Palestine titled ‘Give Us a Ticket’".

He added, “Eric is on tour just now with his band – Their sound reminds one of Serge Gainsbourg, Tom Waits and Charles Baudilaire ( if he wore the number 7 shirt ) What a great concert. Thank you Eric".

Previously, Eric Cantona and Bobby Gillespie also joined The Libertines and Patti Smith on stage for a benefit concert for Palestine.

In 2022, the Man United legend also joined forces with Primal Scream, promoting a 'Palestinadelica' shirt, a play on the band's 1991 album, 'Screamadelica'.

Earlier this month, Eric Cantona stunned the locals at Dublin's The Celt pub, by turning up on the premises, signing autographs and posing for photos, ahead of his show at Liberty Hall. More on this here.
