Coldplay have shared a new music video for their single, ‘The Karate Kid’, which features Ralph Macchio, the star of the 1980s movie of the same name.
Macchio who played Daniel LaRusso in the original Karate Kid trilogy, stars as a busker who gets a ticket to Coldplay show.
This track had also been teased by Coldplay at their show at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium, where Macchio was introduced to the stage by the band.
While on stage, Coldplay’s Chris Martin had joked that he had lost his voice, and asked if there was anybody who could sing this next song.
At this point, Ralph Macchio who also stars in Cobra Kai, walked out onto the stage to a standing ovation from the Melbourne crowd.

Coldplay Pause Melbourne Gig To Help Trapped Boy
Earlier this month, Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin paused a show in Melbourne to help a young fan who was trapped in the crowd.
In a video which went viral, Martin can be heard saying to the boy from the stage: “You can sit right here, OK? You don’t have to be squeezed”.
The singer can also been seen gesturing for the young boy to lifted over the crowd-control barriers, before adding: “Then you don’t have to be squished by all these adults is all”.
Chris Martin then asked the security team if they could “get some headphones for him”.
The singer also told the young fan: “You sit right there my little brother, OK. Better?”.
“Now, do you want some coke or something? The drink, I mean,” he also added as the crowd laughed. “We’ll take care of you, man”.
