Over the weekend, original AC/DC frontman Dave Evans performed a live show in France, where he treated fans to some live covers of classic tracks from the band.

Evans, who was the lead singer of AC/DC from 1973 to 1974, was the vocalist on the band's first single, 'Can I Sit Next To You Girl', b-side 'Rockin In The Parlour', which was released in Australia in 1974.

Peaking at No 50 in Australia following its release, the track was re-recorded by Evans' successor Bon Scott for AC/DC's album, 'TNT', which arrived in 1975. It was performed by Evans at the Salle Horizon Pyrénées in Muret, France. This show took place last Saturday (March 22).

Last April, Dave Evans made the bold claim that he was AC/DC's "best" singer

“Well, first, Dave Evans is the best, of course. That’s me, okay? Of course. And most of my fans will tell you exactly that, too,” he went on to add that his fans called him “maestro".
