Watch: Dave Grohl Remembers First Joining Nirvana

A clip of Dave Grohl speaking in an upcoming documentary has been released.

The Smart Studios Story will tell the story of Smart Studios, the Wisconsin studio which is owned by Nirvana producer and Garbage drummer Butch Vig.

A clip has been released online ahead of the documentary, which will be out on 25th of November. In the clip, Nirvana drummer Grohl is seen talking to Jonathan Poneman, boss of Sun Pop Records. In the clip, Grohl discusses first joining Nirvana. You can watch it below:

Grohl, who is also the frontman of Foo Fighters, is thought to have been working  on new material away from the Foo Fighters after producer Butch Vig hinted at this earlier this year. As well as this, a fan recenetly uploaded a picture of himself with Grohl and claimed they had been talking about new music. The former Nirvana drummer previously denied any plans to work on solo material.
