Last night was a night that Sam Connolly from Monkstown will never forget, the drummer got to show off his chops to 30,000 people on stage at The Killers gig in Malahide Castle… and he nailed it!
The American rock band were playing at Malahide Castle on Tuesday night when they spotted Monkstown man, Sam, holding up a sign asking if he could drum.
The crow burst into chants of “ole, ole, ole” after Sam was brought up on stage to play and he received rave reviews.
You can see Sam’s perfomance in this video by Roisin Cullen from dublinlive.ie
Sam thanked everyone for their support and shared a picture with the much-loved band tweeting, “Played drums with the killers infront of 30,000 people tonight what?????”
