Irish singer Glen Hansard joined Eddie Vedder on stage during his live solo set at the Teenage Cancer Trust Show in London over the weekend.

This performance which took place yesterday (March 24), closed out a full week of gigs, raising funds and awareness for Teenage Cancer Trust, and Teen Cancer America.
Following earlier performances from Paul Weller and Sterophonics’ Kelly Jones, Eddie Vedder treated the audience to a seven song solo set, which opened with a live performance of Pearl Jam track, ‘Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town’.

On the night, Eddie Vedder brought out his first guest, Simon Townshend, brother of The Who’s Pete Townshend, before introducing Hansard to the stage.
Vedder and Hansard performed a cover of Jerry Hannan’s track ‘Society’, as well as the Swell Season’s ‘Falling Slowly’.
Later in the evening, Eddie Vedder performed a live rendition of ‘My Father’s Daughter’ with his daughter Oliva. The pair had co-written the track for the soundtrack to Sean Penn’s Flag Day.
