Eddie Vedder performed a rendition of the A Star Is Born song ‘Maybe It’s Time’ during a gig in Arizona over the weekend. Fan-shot footage of the cover is streaming below.
Vedder was performing at the Innings Festival in Tempe when he paid tribute to the Oscar-winning film. ‘Maybe It’s Time’ is performed in the film by actor and director Bradley Cooper. The Pearl Jam singer played his take on the song during his set.
Musician, Jason Isbell wrote ‘Maybe It’s Time’, and he shared his appreciation for Vedder playing his track on Twitter.
Isbell wrote. “Holy shit Eddie Vedder sang my Bradley Cooper song in his set tonight. That is by far the strangest sentence I’ve ever composed but it’s certainly a huge honour. I was 12 when ‘Ten’ came out and by god I learned how to play every song on it.”

Vedder was the main inspiration for Cooper in the latter’s approach to playing his A Star Is Born character Jackson Maine. Check out the cover below
